The White Lodge presents a commendable blend of convenience and comfort, situated just a stroll away from Sorrento's primary attractions, bus terminal, and train station, making it an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. My modern room, though compact, featured effective air conditioning and soundproofing, ensuring a restful retreat. I appreciated the eco-friendly focus and the presence of free Wi-Fi. A light breakfast voucher allowed access to delightful pastries at a local café frequented by locals. What truly elevates this establishment is the exceptional service from Eligio, who went above and beyond, even offering a late-night ride to Nerano for our boat tour. While the balcony view of Mt. Vesuvius was modest, the hotel's amenities, like the terrace and efficient check-in process, enhanced my stay. For those weighing luxury and value, the White Lodge proves a wise choice.
